Love Island’s Jack Fincham has hinted he’s ready to make it official with Dani Dyer, after she calls him her “best mate”.
The pair have been coupled up since day one two weeks ago, and despite a brief wobble at the start, have emerged as a pretty solid couple in the villa.
So perhaps it’s no surprise the “girlfriend and boyfriend” terms are already being thrown around.
In Friday night’s episode, the smitten duo grow even closer in the aftermath of last night’s twist, which forced the couples to nominate the couples they felt were the least compatible.

Naturally it’s a pretty tense time for everyone as they wait to find out which couples received the lowest vote, leaving them at risk of being dumped.
And it prompts Dani and Jack to reflect on how lucky they are to have each other.
Dani tells him: “I’m glad I’ve got you.”
Jack agrees: “I’m so glad I’ve got you. I feel really lucky that we’ve met each other… I really like you, I do.”
Dani responds by calling Jack her “best mate” which leads him to declare he does “eventually” want to go out with Dani – aka make it official!
She replies: “Well you hold that little question until you’re ready, alright babe?”
While Dani plays it cool with Jack, in the Beach Hut she admits things are getting really serious.
“He is like my best friend and I feel so lucky to have someone like Jack,” she says. “My whole life I’ve waited for something and I feel like Jack is that person now.”
The topic of making it official comes up again later on, as Jack and Dani inch closer to being the first couple this series to make it official.
Jack says: “I reckon you’re going to be my girlfriend one day. Do you?”
Dani replies: “We’ll have to see if you ask me… You’d ask me in here?”
Jack responds: “I’d like to be real… I could see it could you?”
Dani tells Jack she can see a future with him, although he later expresses concerns he’s scared her off!
Jack confesses in the Beach Hut: “I hope I haven’t scared her off saying that. It just come to me when I was laying there I just thought of it, I thought I’d love that. I just say how I feel and it just comes out like verbal diarrhoea! Why do I do this? I’m such a melt mate!”
