We’re pretty pleased as we think Kerry’s massively underused and we know Laura Norton who plays her is great at the drama as well as comedy.
Anyway, rant over. Next week, Kezza gets a shock while she’s out shoe shopping for Dan.
She comes face-to-face with a familiar boat-race and it’s about to open a can of worms.
The mystery character (who no, we won’t name) leaves Kerry deeply worried when she realises they’re homeless and have hit very hard times.
She sees them trying to con money out of passers-by in town and decides to speak to Bernice Thomas about it, as she’s left shaken and worried about their well-being.
Confiding in Bernice that she once lived on the streets, the former vicar’s wife tells Kerry to be honest with Dan about it all.
Kerry decides to open up to him but is staggered by his reaction.
Bernice and Kerry decide to track the mystery person down again.
They plan to reach out to them, but Kerry is left feeling terrible by the plights of the homeless people she talks to.
Dan’s upset by her actions, and is speechless when Kerry reveals she used to be in that position.
Will Dan be understanding? And will he be convinced to help the mystery person?
