Emmerdale SPOILER: Debbie Dingle swears revenge on Joe Tate

Well, she's not gonna have that, is she?

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has promised fans that her character, Debbie Dingle, will be gunning for revenge after the man she thought was her boyfriend, Tom Waterhouse, turned out to be none other than Joseph Tate.

Dun,dun, DUNNNNNN!

Poor Debs was in floods of tears last night as soap’s newest villain merrily popped a bottle of champagne open as he announced his true identity – and that he was just using her to get at her mum, Charity.

Ouch.

In case Debbie was left in any doubt, Joe made things pretty clear by taking away her Bentley and kicking her out of Jacob’s Fold.

Speaking about what’s next for Debbie, Charley revealed: “Debbie is so shocked for ages. I don’t think she can take it in, so it does take her a while to come to terms with it.

“Debbie eventually decides to trash the house, because Joe has had all of her stuff taken out and it’s all in boxes on the street, so she goes and destroys it!

“I can’t see that being the end. ‘Tom’ has been such a huge part of her life and Debbie has been setting up what she thought was a family unit with him and her children.

“I can’t imagine Debbie just letting it go – and she is a Dingle after all.”

Charley went on to say that, even though Debbie will be quite damaged from the experience, she’ll bounce back – as always – and that getting revenge of her own will help her heal.

She added: “I know there’s a lot coming up for Debbie in terms of where she goes next.”

Debbie was left stunned last night when ‘Tom’ revealed himself to be Charity’s former step-son who’s been living with his aunt Zoe in New Zealand.

The shock revelation came to light after Charity snuck into the businessman’s office and snooped through his draws, knowing there was something not quite right about her daughter’s new fella.

She was right, finding his passport and realising the truth, before trying to warn Debbie that ‘Tom’ wasn’t ‘Tom’ at all.

Fans praised the ITV soap for the dramatic twist.

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
