They’ve already had the Gents turned into a drug den and, next week, Mick returns to the Vic to find it doused in petrol – with a threatening warning from Aidan.
He wants his money. Or else.
There is a glimmer of light though when Billy Mitchell lets slip that Mel Owen knows Aidan and might be able to help him out.
Despite initially refusing, Mel gets fed up when Aidan limps over to the club and threatens her – punching Billy in the process.
Mel seeks Mick out and hands him a telephone number, telling him it’s a way to get rid of Aidan once and for all – a hitman.
Mick insists he’s not that sort of person, but when Linda discovers Aidan has been threatening the kids, she tells him the gangster has to be stopped.
The hitman calls in at the pub and has a friendly chat with Mick, asking him if he’s sure this is the road he wants to go down.
