Love Island’s Eyal Booker has admitted he’s “fed up” being coupled with Hayley Hughes.
In Wednesday night’s episode, the model tells Hayley he’s starting to get frustrated by their lack of conversations and the fact they don’t seem to have anything in common.
They were paired up on Monday night’s series premiere on a ‘fancy at first sight’ basis, but now they’ve had a few days to get to know each other, it seems they’re both having doubts…
In tonight’s episode, Eyal tells Hayley he feels like he’s making efforts to connect with her but she’s not making it easy.
He says: “The past few days I felt like I’ve tried as much as I can to talk to you and find out about you. I don’t really feel like it’s been reciprocated. I feel like I’m giving as much as I can but I’m not really getting anything back.”

Hayley replies: “Maybe that’s what it is. I don’t want to feel like it’s got to go somewhere, do you know what I mean. I’ve just been over thinking it.”
Eyal, however, tells Hayley that even if they are going down the friendship route, she needs to make more of an effort.
He says: “Friends chat to each other and ask each other questions and reciprocate. If I ask you something then maybe ask something back.”
Eyal later tells Niall Aslam he’s not quite sure what to do as Hayley seems totally detached from him.
“I really don’t know what’s going on with Hayley,” says Eyal.
“The past few days I’ve tried to talk to her as much as I can. And just try and gauge where she’s at but she really hasn’t given me much back. She hasn’t really tried to chat to me or really get to know me. I’m trying to give signals but I don’t want to be too full on.
“We haven’t even had a cuddle.”
Up until now, the boys have worried one of them will be dumped at the first recoupling, given there are currently six boys and five girls in the villa.
But a twist on Wednesday night’s episode will see two new ladies – Rosie Williams and Georgia Steel – enter the villa and switch the power dynamic!
News of the girls’ arrival immediately perks up Eyal who sees it as his chance to meet someone new.
Eyal admits: “This is great, it is exactly what I need. I’m a bit fed up with my situation and with my couple at the moment.”
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
