After a week of being undecided on their feelings for one another, Hayley Hughes and Eyal Booker will lock lips in Sunday night’s episode of Love Island.
The romantic moment happened on Friday after Hayley was delighted her partner unexpectedly saved her from being the first to leave the villa.
Viewers will tonight see what happened next as the pair have a one-on-one chat on the day bed to discuss his shock decision.
“Obviously I appreciate you choosing me because over the past few days I have been hard work. I was so relieved that you picked me though,” Hayley tells him.
Eyal then explains why he kept his decision to himself until Friday’s re-coupling.
“I’ve wanted to make you sweat as well which is why I didn’t tell anyone my decision. I didn’t think you were interested in me or giving me the time of day, which is what I was upset about.”
Defending herself, Hayley replies: “It’s not that I’m not interested or giving you the time of day. I just haven’t got to know you as a person.”

The couple then share their first kiss, which leads Eyal to hope there could be a future for them.
“It was great. It was only a little kiss. It just means that I guess we can get a little bit closer,” he later confides in the beach hut.
“We’ve broken down that awkward barrier that I felt that we had up. I feel like for now, I did make the right choice with Hayley, and there have been moments that we have got on and clicked and so, yeah, for now, I think I made the right choice.”
Before Friday’s re-coupling, Eyal had also been considering choosing Kendall over Hayley, after Adam moved on from her to new girl Rosie.
But by sticking with Hayley, he helped seal Kendall’s fate in being the first to leave the villa.
Eyal said of his decision: “I’m feeling good about Hayley at the moment. Still a bit unsure and I’m not sure if I’m really sensing that there’s a vibe there but I want to give her a second chance so I’m going to keep on trying and hope that we find something there.”
So could this be the start of a new romance?
Errr, it seems not, as when Hayley goes to the beach hut, she says the kiss didn’t mean anything.
“I don’t see Eyal as any more than a friend right now. A kiss is a kiss at the end of the day. I’m going to enjoy getting to know him as a person, so yeah. What’s a kiss?” she said.
She later confides to Wes and Laura in the garden that she doesn’t see romance blossoming between her and the 22-year-old model. She said their kiss confirmed for her that there was “no chemistry” between them.
When Wes then decides to tell Eyal what Hayley said, things kick off in an almighty way in the villa.

An angry Eyal confronts Hayley for “playing me for a fool” while she gets upset and annoyed at Wes for betraying her confidence.
This also leads to trouble between Wes and Laura, who is also annoyed at him for blabbing about a “private conversation”.
Who would have thought a little kiss could cause so much trouble?!
Find out about the fall out as Love Island continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
Tonight’s episode will also see three new islanders arriving to shake things up in the villa.
