Love Island’s Hayley Hughes and Charlie Frederick’s romance could be over before it really started.
Newcomer Charlie has accused Hayley of being “muggy” towards him by acting distant, despite choosing to couple up with him just one day ago.
She had been coupled up with Eyal Booker until Wednesday evening, when she chose to partner with Charlie instead, and they’ve already shared a kiss.
But already the pairing seems to be on the rocks…

A frustrated Charlie thinks Hayley’s just not that into him, venting on Thursday’s episode: “I do want to get to know her more, but I feel as if she’s being a bit muggy to me.”
Charlie thinks he’s making all the effort and Hayley isn’t reciprocating.
He claims: “I feel it’s all coming from me. I compliment that girl every day, every time there’s a group conversation, I go and sit with her. I’ve not had her once come up to me and hug me or kiss me.”
And it seems like Charlie’s concerns could be justified as Hayley admits to the girls she’s genuinely not sure how she feels about him.
A confused Hayley confesses: “I don’t know where my head’s at again.”
“It’s annoying me because I feel like I’m being dead fussy. But neither do I just want to rush something with someone,” continues Hayley.
She adds: “At the end of the day, if I’ve got some element of doubt in it I’m not going to put everything into that one person. That’s not saying that I’m ruling him out getting to know him, as I am in a couple.”
Meanwhile, Charlie seeks out Jack Fincham for advice; a good shout given Jack’s in a solid coupling with Dani Dyer.
Jack tells him: “There’s no one else in here that you want to couple up with. At the end of the day you were happy that she picked you. You wanted her to pick you. That says something in itself.
“She could have picked anyone she wanted really.”

Charlie and Hayley’s rocky relationship could mean they’re in trouble, meanwhile, as the couples are given a bombshell announcement tonight.
Each couple must vote for the two couples in the villa they think are least compatible.
And the couple with the most votes is at risk of dumping on Friday night!
Alex George is particularly worried as he and partner Samira Mighty are paired up as friends, rather than romantically, so he fears they’re vulnerable to going home.
Love Island continues 9pm on ITV2.
