Carla Connor’s life is on the line next week when she collapses on the street in shocking scenes.
Since her return at Christmas, Roy Cropper is the only one who knows Carla is secretly suffering from kidney failure and needs a life saving transplant.

When he notices how tired his good friend is looking, he urges her to tell her family the truth about her condition so they can help her.
But the decision is taken out of Carla’s hands when she keels over in the street and is rushed to hospital.
Doctors break the news to Carla that she needs a transplant ASAP and, when Roy reveals he isn’t a match, she has little choice but to let the rest of the Connor clan know what’s going on.
Aidan and Kate step forward to find out if they could be potential donors and undergo the initial tests.
Will one of them be a match, or will Carla’s life-threatening situation get worse?
It’s not all bad news for Carla next week though, as she starts up a steamy fling with her ex-husband’s younger brother.
While she nervously waits for the Kate and Aidan’s results, she invites herself round to Daniel’s flat to take her mind off things.
Daniel has just been rejected by Sinead and Carla begins to flirt with him, which leads to them sharing a kiss.
Later, after Sinead spots them kissing on the doorstep, a furious Beth confronts them at The Rovers.
The whole episode is watched by Peter, who couldn’t look more jealous if he tried.
