After the turbulent few months the Slaters have had, Jean thinks a christening would be just the tonic to get them all back on track.
But while Jean’s excited about her idea, Stacey couldn’t be less interested in getting her kids christened if she tried.
However, Jean won’t let the matter drop and with her pleas falling on deaf ears with her daughter, she decides to talk Martin round instead.
As she admits she just wants to do a nice thing for the family and bring everyone a bit closer together, Martin starts to warm to the idea and agrees with Jean that it’s a good idea.
But there’s trouble ahead when Stacey finds out Martin has agreed to the christening without talking it through with her first.
Cracks start to appear in the couple’s recently repaired relationship – causing them to fight it out.
