Coronation Street SPOILER: Josh Tucker reveals his ‘murderous’ streak as he launches a vicious attack

His dark side is fighting to get out...

Josh Tucker has been all sweetness and light since he arrived on Coronation Street. But this week the newcomer is set to reveal his sinister side…

We all know that Josh isn’t the man he’s making out to be. With the huge storyline coming up that sees him sexually assault David Platt, it’s clear that the new mechanic is hiding a sinister side to his personality.

Since he arrived on the cobbles, Josh has settled into life in Weatherfield nicely. He’s made friends, is enjoying his new job as a mechanic, and didn’t waste any time setting up a charity boxing match in memory of the late Luke Britton – making him very popular with the locals.

But in Friday’s episode we’ll see the beginnings of his dark streak coming out when David and Josh team up and brutally attack Billy Mayhew’s drug addict brother, Lee, when he ventures back on to Coronation Street.

Sarah is terrified when she spots Lee on the Street. Remember how he kidnapped her and held her hostage back in 2016?

Scared to see her one-time captor, Sarah rushes to tell David who she’s spotted and David’s horrified.

Last time he encountered Lee, David dealt with him pretty well – swooping in to rescue Sarah from his flat.

But this time, he takes his revenge to a whole other level, this time with the help of his new friend, Josh.

As Lee heads down the Street to see his brother Billy, a van pulls up next to him driven by David – Josh bundles Lee into the back!

The pair take Lee to a garage where they savagely beat him up and threaten him.

But Josh seems to enjoy the violent encounter a little bit too much when after David leaves, Josh threatens Lee with a tyre iron before letting him go.

This is the first time viewers will have seen a real change in Josh – and as we know, things are only going to get a lot darker for the character.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
