There’s trouble heading for the Slaters next week when Alfie’s name crops up, leaving Hayley terrified everyone has worked out her secret.
Viewers have known for months that Hayley is hiding a huge secret from her family.
Not only is she pregnant and only Jean Slater knows the truth, but no one has any idea that the daddy of her baby is none other than her cousin Kat’s estranged husband, Alfie!
With time running out for Hayley, the pressure is on for her to come up with a plan, after all baby bumps have a habit of becoming hard to hide after a while.

The Slaters have already commented on the fact Hayley has been putting on weight, so it doesn’t look like it’ll be long before they work out the only weight Hayley is gaining is around her stomach!
Next week it is Kat’s twins’ birthday and she’s upset to be missing their milestone day, especially when Alfie is making it hard for her to video call her boys.
But when she innocently asks Hayley if she has heard from Alfie, the mum-to-be freaks out and panics that Kat has worked out the truth.
When Kat admits she is just desperate to speak to her kids on their birthday, Hayley agrees to help out and rings Alfie with an ultimatum.
Later Hayley is further panicked when Jean asks her what she has done to upset Kat.
Jean doesn’t realise that what she has said leaves Hayley shaken to the core and makes her decide to leave the Square.

Fed up with living on egg shells and knowing her time is running out before the truth is revealed, Hayley packs her bags.
But will she really leave the only family she has got? And more to the point, where will she go?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
