As Craig battles his OCD, Kayla plants a seed of doubt in his mind and suggests that he should quit his dream job in the police because the stress could push him over the edge.
Later she visits her rapist dad Neil in prison and promises she will do anything to prove his innocence.
When Ryan suggests to Bethany that she joins him in Ibiza for a few days, she’s tempted but she’s soon distracted when Craig tells her that he’s thinking of jacking in the police.
She then decides to step in and help and books Craig an appointment with his therapist, determined not to let her friend throw his career away.
But when Bethany tells Craig, Kayla goes crazy at her, telling her to stay out of Craig’s life and reminding her that he’s not Bethany’s boyfriend anymore.
Is Kayla trying to drive a wedge between Craig and Bethany? And how does this fit in with her revenge plan?
Actress Mollie Winnard who plays devious Kayla recently admitted that her character is playing a dangerous game with Bethany and Craig.
Mollie told Radio Times: “Kayla is a daddy’s girl, Neil is her whole world. When Neil loses his appeal that’s the moment everything switches for her. She decides to do whatever it takes to protect him.
“She believes Craig knows Bethany lied about Neil and he can’t cope with it, and that’s what has triggered his OCD.
