EastEnders SPOILER: Kidnap horror for Mick Carter as Aidan Maguire gets revenge

What has Aidan got planned for the pub landlord?

Tonight’s trip to Albert Square sees things take a sinister turn for EastEnders’ Mick Carter when he’s kidnapped and bundled into a van.

These new pictures from the BBC show the pub boss in serious danger when conman Aidan Maguire hires some heavies to target him – determined to get some answers about where his missing heist money has gone.

Before Mick knows what is happening, the two men have got him by the arms and he’s being thrown into the back of a vehicle.

Convinced that Mr Carter is the man with the missing heist cash, Aidan tried to grill Johnny before he left the Square – hoping he might be able to lead him to the money.

But when that proved fruitless, Aidan takes action. But will scaring Mick like this get him the answers he wants?

Aidan has been suspicious about Mick ever since the Carters managed to raise the funds to buy back the freehold on their beloved Queen Vic pub – but fans know that they didn’t use the heist cash to secure their future.

Instead they sold a ring that Halfway took during the New Year robbery – which ended up being worth more than enough money to save The Vic.

So while Aidan’s robbery plan technically did help the Carters buy back The Vic, that doesn’t mean Mick has the money.

But what will happen when Aidan has Mick bought to him for a fierce interrogation? Especially when we already know he isn’t going to have the answers Aidan’s looking for.

The last Aidan and his men saw of the money is when Billy hid it away in a coffin – and the last we saw of it was when Ben Mitchell had it hidden in the Arches.

Meanwhile the ongoing question continues… if Mick and Aidan don’t have the money, who does?

EastEnders airs these scenes tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
