Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has revealed that her on-screen sons are set to clash.
The 41-year-old actress, who plays Michelle Connor, says her character is set for a whole load of grief when her son Ryan returns to Weatherfield in upcoming episodes.
While Michelle is gutted her sons can’t get on, Kym is delighted with the drama!
Ryan (Ryan Prescott) returns in time for his mum’s wedding to Robert Preston, and in the aftermath of Aidan’s death.
And the troubles start from the moment he arrives!

Soaps fans will remember that Ryan is the son Michelle raised as her own, although she later discovered he wasn’t biologically hers after a mix-up in the hospital.
Ali, Michelle’s biological son, is unimpressed when Michelle is forced to let him down in favour of collecting a drunk Ryan from the airport…
Later, when Robert’s best man cancels, Ryan insists he organises the stag night – and Michelle and Ali are both worried by the idea.
And, quite rightly, because the simmering tensions between Ryan and Ali threaten to explode at the fancy dress-themed stag.
So it’s rather fitting that the brothers are dressed as the warring Gallagher brothers from Oasis!

When Ryan tries to ply the groom-to-be with alcohol, Ali steps in, reminding Ryan that Michelle warned him to take it easy.
Kym told What’s On TV magazine: “Michelle, of course, would want them to be a happy family, but Kym’s excited for the fireworks.”
Asked about Michelle’s feelings towards Ryan’s return, Kym said: “She’s delighted. He’s her boy and she loves him.
“He’s been away for quite a while but they’ve had lots of conversations off screen, and they pretty much pick up where they left off.
“He’s always been a bit of trouble, and that’s exactly what he is when he comes back!”

Meanwhile, Ali Neeson [real name Alex] has only recently returned to the cobbles himself as the new trainee GP at the doctor’s surgery.
Kym reveals: “Michelle is very aware that the last time Ali and Ryan met, they didn’t like each other, so she doesn’t want to upset Ali.
“But equally, she’s not going to ignore Ryan. So she feels caught in the middle, especially because Ryan causes problems for Ali from the off.”
She adds: “They’re like Cain and Abel, and they’re both insecure for different reasons. Michelle is concerned about that, and by the fact they don’t like each other and aren’t hiding it.”
While the sibling rivalry between the two is bothersome to Michelle, it’s actually the least of her worries on the wedding day.
