Love Island’s Laura Anderson is concerned her romance with Jack Fowler is on the rocks following the arrival of two new girls.
The 29-year-old is furious on Tuesday night’s episode when Dani Dyer and Alexandra Cane suggest new boy Paul, 31, would be a good match for her, despite Laura being coupled up with Jack, 22.
It’s bad timing as Laura’s already feeling a bit worried about Jack’s head being turned by newcomer Stephanie, who has made no secret of the fact she fancies him.
Laura is livid when Dani and Alexandra suggest Paul would be a good match for Laura because they’re the same age and at the same stage in life.
She rages: “Everyone just sticks their nose in. And it’s just annoying. It is. You’re trying to push me in the direction of someone else and I don’t appreciate it. I cannot pursue someone else while I’m still pursuing Jack. I just wish that you guys could just enjoy and see me and Jack being good instead of everyone having so many opinions against it.”

She adds: “I just don’t really feel the need for it and I just want people to shut up.”
Laura confronts Jack to make sure they’re on the same page about not having their heads turned, telling him: “I just don’t want to be mugged off, and I don’t get why you said that. Are you actually sure you are in this for the right reasons?”
Laura tells Jack there’s no way her head will be turned with Paul, no matter what the girls suggest.
And warns Jack if he does want to date a new girl then they’re done.
“I don’t date two people at the same time on the outside. I’m not going to go over and flirt with Paul, get into bed and kiss you,” she says
“That’s just weird. I’m not going to come up to you and be like ‘just so you know, I’m going to get to know Paul.’ Because If I said that to you, honestly I’d expect you to [bleep] me off. I wouldn’t expect you to deal with that.
“And likewise if you like the girls and you said you wanted to get to know them, then as far as I’m concerned we’re done.”
Unfortunately for Laura, she doesn’t quite get the reassurance she wants from Jack.
He glosses over her questioning over whether he’ll crack on with the new girls and even admits they are “attractive and nice”.
It leaves a fuming Laura seething in the Diary Room as she admits confusion over her relationship with Jack.
“This is too much. I thought we were on the same page, none of us liked the new people, we’re just going to stick together, and then we started talking about the future,” she says.

“He’s worried that we’re not going to work on the outside, I was like ‘well I don’t know what’s going to happen either’, and if we both fancy each other and we don’t fancy anyone else, then why do we need to stop something that’s good?”
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
