Martin and Stacey Fowler’s marriage breakdown has been one of the hardest to watch in Soap Land.
The pair have been battling since Stacey tearfully confessed to her husband that she cheated on him with Max Branning on Christmas Eve.

Martin didn’t take the news well and threw Stacey out, telling her she wouldn’t get the kids or the house.
Obviously Stacey didn’t take this lying down and schemed her way back into the house before calling a locksmith to change the looks before Martin returned.
Next week the warring couple will have an almighty showdown in the Square as they battle about who should have custody of their kids.
Stacey has been refusing to let Martin see them overnight and she stands by this decision, even when Martin’s sister, Michelle, tries to talk her round.
Stace then decides to let Martin spend some time with daughter Hope but he kicks off and accuses her of using him as a babysitting service while she sneaks off to see Max.
By the end of the week things are about as acrimonious as they can get, with Martin seeking legal advice over access to the kids.
Michelle gets involved again when she sees Stacey getting into a taxi with the children and – believing her to be running away with them – alerts her brother.
Stacey tells him she’s just taking them to Brighton to see Jean, but Martin is still furious she didn’t run it past him.

They end up having a blazing row on the street, with the locals all looking on.
