Love Island’s Laura Anderson has declared she won’t stand in the way of Wes Nelson and Megan Barton Hanson being together.
The 29-year-old was gutted when partner Wes, 20, revealed he wanted to crack on with Megan, 24, despite being in a happy coupling with Laura.
He had told Laura he was happy with her, but could possibly be happier with someone else.
Naturally Laura was fuming, particularly when Wes and Megan went off to sleep in the day bed together in front of her face, and said she’d lost both a partner and friendship in one go.

But on Thursday night’s episode, it seems Laura is having second thoughts about Megan and is keen to actually maintain their friendship.
In a dramatic U-Turn, she even voices support for Wes and Megan as a couple.
Laura says: “I genuinely, actually feel like I do see her and Wes together. And I don’t want to stop that from happening because deep down I know that me and Wes weren’t right for each other.
“She’s really shy, he’s really loud. She probably calms him down. Even though it killed me and it does a bit, I can’t stop people from being happy.”
Laura decides to end her cold shouldering of Megan and try to repair their friendship, particularly as a bombshell new twist means six new male islanders are about to arrive at the villa.
She calls Megan to one side and tells her it’s time to put everything behind them, explaining: “I just want to be friends with you and go back to the way it is. It will be easier if some other guy came in here who could distract me and hopefully today that could happen. So let’s just be friends.”

The six new male islanders will live with the girls at the villa, while the boys have been sent to Casa Amor where six new female islanders are waiting.
But while Laura may be okay with Wes and Megan cracking on, their romance may be over before it started…
In tonight’s episode both Wes and Megan admit they are open to exploring connections with other people, despite having just hooked up a couple of days ago.
