The Carters find themselves in grave danger at the hands of Aidan Maguire once again – but this time is it Linda Carter who gets the gangster’s blood boiling. Has she just signed husband Mick’s death warrant?
With Linda away at the start of next week, Mick is struggling to know what to do about the drug dealing going on in The Vic toilets.
Mick knows that Aidan is behind the scheme and is at a total loss about how to deal with the illegal goings on.

Aidan is still convinced that Mick took the cash from the heist – oblivious to the fact Sharon Mitchell and Mel Owen have already returned the missing money to Ciara Maguire.
But when Mick decides enough is enough and takes matters into his own hands, his plan falls flat and the drug dealer passes on a menacing threat from Aidan, leaving Mick terrified.
Desperate to put an end to their feud, Mick meets Aidan face-to-face, but it only makes matters worse when the conman delivers a message that leaves Mick fearing for his life.
Much to Mick’s horror, Linda arrives back early from her trip away and he and Shirley desperately try and hide what has been going on in her absence.
But the landlady isn’t daft and senses something is amiss – and of course it doesn’t take her long to realise that Aidan is behind it.
After Linda tries to take action to stop the drug dealing going on under her roof, Aidan isn’t a happy man and he comes round to see the Carters with a very cryptic message.
Instead of lashing out, Aidan instead offers Mick a huge wad of cash. It’s clearly hush money – but is Mick walking into another trap?

Linda is fuming when she learns Mick’s taken the money and, fed up with living in fear, she decides to take on Aidan herself without Mick knowing.
But of course things don’t quite go as she’d hoped and her actions leave Mr Maguire looking for revenge. Has she just landed Mick in more trouble than any of them realise?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One – and these scenes are on screen thought next week.
