Emmerdale fans will be reminded just how unhinged Lachlan White can be next week when Robert Sugden’s plotting and manipulation threatens to push him over the edge again.

We’ve watched Robert at his most brilliantly dark as he’s plotted to take over Home Farm by messing with the Whites. Since he tricked Lawrence into believing they slept together, he’s got into his head more than ever.
Next week Robert will ramp things up a gear with Lawrence, making him believe that he’s actually fallen for him!
Lachlan walks in on the pair just as they’re about to kiss and, well, he doesn’t like what he sees. A very flustered Lawrence ends up kicking his grandson out of Home Farm.
Robert is pretty smug about how well his dastardly plan is working out, until Lawrence suggests they just be open about their relationship.
Quick thinking Robert reminds him that Rebecca might not really like the idea of her dad and her baby daddy in a relationship, which convinces Lawrence to keep things low-key for now.
Later, Robert drugs Lawrence again and this time he is discovered passed out by Lachlan, who is totally disgusted at the state of his grandfather.
He makes sinister threats to kill him, unaware that Robert has been watching and has seen the whole thing.
When he realises that Robert’s seen him, Lachlan backtracks and says he would never have gone through with it – but has Robert got him exactly where he wants him?

Things take another turn for the weird when Lachlan later fires a shotgun at a pumpkin with a picture of Robert’s face attached to it.
