They might think that their troubles are behind them now that they have the money for the pub freehold – but a new face arrives in Albert Square tomorrow evening and is set to stir up trouble between Shirley and Tina Carter.
The newcomer, Georgi, is heavily pregnant and catches Tina’s eye in the cafe when she takes a turn for the worst after falling unwell.
But as Tina looks after the customer, she is unaware that she a actually has a connection to the Carters and is in Walford looking for Shirley!

When Georgi later turns up in The Vic, Tina is left bemused when it becomes apparent the woman she helped earlier knows her sister… and is left even more surprised when Georgi reveals who has sent her.
The mum-to-be is apparently a friend of Zsa Zsa’s – Tina’s estranged daughter who we briefly saw on screen back in 2010.
But relations between Tina and her daughter clearly haven’t improved over the years – because when Georgi discovers who Tina really is, she launches into a huge tirade – telling the cafe worker exactly what she thinks of her parenting skills.
Tina’s heartbroken when it becomes apparent Zsa Zsa asked Shirley to look after her pregnant friend instead of her – but to be honest it’s slim pickings between those two, isn’t it? Neither Shirley or Tina are about to win an award for being mum of the year!
Keen to share her side of the story, Tina sits down with her daughter’s friend and tells her version of events…
But just when it looks like things are going well, Tina discovers Georgi has fallen out with her own mum and decides to put things right.
Except all Tina does is make things worse.
She takes Georgi’s phone and organises to meet her mum – but she ends up inadvertently making things a whole lot more complicated by giving away the young mum’s whereabouts, and Georgi is fuming.
Shirley is then forced to take control of the situation and begs hr niece’s friend to stay put when she tries to run away – sharing her own harsh words with Tina at the same time.
with tension at breaking point between the Carter sisters, it looks like their relationship is about to hit rock bottom when a huge drama brings them back together.
But what is this unexpected shock that is so big it makes Shirley and Tina forget their fight?
