When the Slaters start to wonder why Jean isn’t keen on going back to Brighton to be with her husband Ollie, the family put two and two together and get five, convinced that he’s been hitting her.
After Kat returns from her trip, she’s fuming to discover that the family haven’t sold Uncle Charlie’s black cab and paid Jean back the money she’s owed.
But when the group take a vote about whether to hold on to the taxi or not, everyone is shocked when Jean is the one uncertain about getting rid of the family legacy, leaving Kat suspicious.

Convinced that Jean is hiding something sinister about why she isn’t desperate to get back to her husband, Kat becomes convinced that Ollie has been getting heavy handed.
And when Jean admits that her other half has been ‘hurting her’ it seems her suspicions are confirmed.
Determined to get justice for Jean, Kat invites Ollie to Walford for lunch. But it doesn’t look like there is going to be much eating going on.
With Jean out of the way, Kat and Mo lay into Ollie, accusing him of hitting Jean. But while Ollie is adamant they’ve got the wrong end of the stick, the women aren’t listening to his denials.
As they hound him for the truth, things take a sinister turn when Ollie dramatically collapses, just as Jean arrives home.

Shocked to find her estranged husband out cold on the kitchen floor, Jean demands some answers from her family. But will she like what she hears?
And if Ollie isn’t hitting Jean, what else could have happened to make her flee Brighton and spend the last three months hiding out at Stacey’s house?
