The net is closing in on Coronation Street’s resident serial killer, Pat Phelan, next week as his attempts to move the dead bodies of Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford leave him fighting for his life.
When Phelan gets wind that the redevelopment project is well under way and the lake at the Mill site is being drained, he panics that it’s only a matter of time before his victims’ bodies are discovered.
The two bodies have been at the bottom of the lake since last year after Phelan dumped them there – and he faces an agonising wait on Monday 5th March as the workmen in the site finish their jobs for the day.

And just as workmen leave the site, the killer is horrified when one of the wrapped bodies emerges from the water.
As soon as the coast is clear, the super villain grabs his waders and gets to work – but moving dead bodies his hard going.
Knowing he is going to have to find a new hiding place for Andy and Vinny’s bodies, Phelan drags them onto the building site.
Exhausted, he then drops them into the foundations of the mill and turns on the concrete.
But just when it looks like the evil killer might have got away with his crimes once again, disaster strikes, leaving his own life hanging in the balance.
As Phelan carries out the grim task of burying the bodies in concrete, Eileen calls his mobile, wondering why he is late arriving for a party she is hosting.
But as the vibrations of the phone begin, it falls off the scaffolding and into the concrete with the dead bodies.
And it doesn’t end there – as Phelan then goes to rescue his phone, he ends up falling into the unset concrete and finds himself trapped as the levels begin to rise.
As the bad weather continues, a scaffolding pole comes lose and falls on the killer – knocking him out cold.
With no way out, and the concrete beginning to set – Pat’s chances don’t look good.
