In episodes to be shown next week, Rebecca receives a devastating health diagnosis which prompts her to make a huge decision about baby Seb.

Since the horrifying car crash that killed her sister Chrissie and dad Lawrence, Rebecca has been suffering from post-traumatic amnesia and struggling with her recovery.
Some of her surprising behaviour is set to include turning up at Home Farm and attacking current owner Joe Tate, thinking her family still live there…
Next week, the confused mum leaves her son unattended and is mortified when she realises the danger she could have put him in.
Encouraged by friend Victoria Barton, Rebecca makes an appointment at the hospital.

To her horror, she is told there is evidence of reduced blood flow to her brain, meaning she may have ‘Executive Dysfunction’, a type of brain injury.
Realising her condition is serious and could affect Seb’s wellbeing and safety, Rebecca agrees to see a neuropsychologist, and makes an announcement about her son’s future…
