The cafe owner becomes aware of Gail’s plan when he’s called by a payday loan company doing checks on an application from the fearful mum.
Gail put Roy down as her employer and he becomes concerned about why she’s applying for money from dodgy companies. When he confronts her she admits that she needs the money to pay Rosemary.
Despite not being convinced by Rosemary or Richard’s curse, Roy offers to lend Gail the money himself, as long as he goes along with her.
A delighted Gail agrees and Rosemary conducts a seance with them, claiming to be in touch with Hayley and Alma.
Roy gets upset and voices his concerns to Audrey, convinced that Rosemary must be getting her information from somewhere.
But Gail is well and truly sucked in and agrees to go along to see Rosemary at a psychic show.
Agreeing with Roy’s concerns, Audrey insists on going along to the show too while Roy comes up with a plan.
He then ropes Cathy into coming along to the psychic show with them, determined to unveil Rosemary as a fraud.
