Love Island’s Samira Mighty has quit the show to be with dumped islander Frankie Foster.
The 22-year-old has chosen to leave the villa to be with Frankie after he was eliminated in a double dumping earlier in the week.
Her exit will be aired on Thursday night’s episode.
She said: “This decision is so, so hard. I’m devastated by it. But I think that it is the right thing to do. Just follow my heart because I’ve never done that before.
“I’ve always taken the back seat and now I need to go for it head on and leave and just go for Frankie… I’ve got to go with my gut feeling.

“I’m not saying I’m in love with Frankie or we’re going to get married tomorrow but I don’t want to waste any time, I just want to see him and I know this is the right thing to do.
“This opportunity was amazing and I take it with a full heart and full love.”
Samira was devastated when Frankie was sent home alongside Grace Wardle earlier in the week, after the public named them among their least favourite islanders.
She’s made no secret of the fact she doesn’t think she’ll find anyone else in the villa, which left many viewers wondering if she would pack her bags and follow Frankie home.
And that’s just what happens in the next episode.
Samira tells the girls she doesn’t feel anyone else in the villa will match up to what she had with Frankie.
“Obviously Frankie is gone and I had a little bit of what I could have and I really liked it,” she says.
“I don’t feel like I’m going to meet anyone else and have a connection with anyone else… I want to stay so bad but I can’t be happy in here anymore.”
Samira breaks the news to Ellie Brown, Dani Dyer and Megan Barton Hanson that she is leaving the villa immediately, saying she doesn’t want to always think “what if?” if she chooses to stay.
“I have to do this for me, I’ve never felt so strong,” she says.
The girls all tell Samira they completely understand why she’s made the decision she has, but they will miss having her in the villa.
Samira breaks the news to the rest of the villa around the firepit, saying she’s been “tossing and turning” about whether to stay but she’s made up her mind.

“I think the best thing for me to get closure on the Frankie situation and for me to be happy is to go today.” she says.
“I’m really sad but it’s a good thing. I’m really happy that I’m doing this and I feel really strong. I love all of you so much. You are all so amazing.”
Samira is not the first contestant to leave the villa without being dumped this series.
Niall Aslam chose to depart nine days after arriving for “personal reasons”. He later revealed via Instagram that he has Asperger’s syndrome.
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
