Love Island’s Samira Mighty has warned Dr Alex George that she doesn’t trust newcomer Ellie Brown.
Samira is currently coupled up as friends with Alex, but he’s got feelings for Ellie and has been leaning towards choosing her at the next recoupling.
If he did, that would make Samira vulnerable, unless she woos new boy Sam Bird and couples up with him.
In Friday night’s episode, Samira tells Alex: “I don’t trust her. She’s just not certain of things and if you come in here you want to be certain.
“I just don’t know her intentions in here, but it’s fine, she’s young. Not genuine, as in genuine about you. Because she hasn’t put any effort in.”
As well as kissing Alex, when Ellie arrived she enjoyed a brief flirtation with Wes Nelson.

Ellie was also seen laughing and chatting with newcomer Sam on Thursday night’s episode, after Sam admitted he fancied her, something that didn’t go down too well with Alex.
Samira’s warning seems to “sow seeds of doubt” in Alex’s mind, even if he thinks she’s being a “bit unfair” about his blossoming romance with Ellie.
Alex tells the Beach Hut: “I think it’s a bit unfair of Samira to judge Ellie and I when we’re so new and only getting to know each other. We’re just trying to give things a go.
“Sam’s a good girl and a great friend to me but in some ways those comments could sow seeds of doubt in your mind.”
Alex also admits that he knows Samira’s position would be vulnerable if he chose Ellie, which he doesn’t want as he’s been coupled up with Samira since day one and they have formed a good friendship.
“This is by far the toughest recoupling I’ve been a part of,” he confesses.
“I’ve got a decision to make tonight and it’s not an easy one,” he adds. “I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it and it’s difficult, I’m feeling nervous. I feel a lot of pressure.”
Meanwhile, also in tonight’s episode viewers will see Adam Collard apologising to Rosie Williams for how things have played out between them.
Adam ditched partner Rosie in favour of newcomer Zara McDermott earlier this week, leaving Rosie heartbroken.
Elsewhere, Eyal Booker and Megan Barton Hanson will spill the details on what happened in the Hideaway last night, while Sam will whisk three lucky ladies out on dates.
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
