They’ll also recall that when Lisa Fowler – Lou’s mum – fled Walford with baby Louise back in 2002, they went to stay with Mel in Portugal.
As these pics show, Louise is more than just a bit pleased to see her old pal.
But just how long will it be before they’re more than just friends?
And what will happen when Hunter discovers that Louise’s dad, Phil, is responsible for his own dad’s death?
Louise has had a tough time of it since she arrived on the Square – she’s been bullied, kidnapped by her own mum and seriously scarred after that accident at last year’s prom.
So she probably deserves some happiness – but nothing is ever that simple in soap.
Louise and her best friend, Bex Fowler, swore off boys last year following Lou’s stifling relationship with Travis and Bex’s dangerous liaison with her music teacher.
Will Hunter be the one to change her mind?
He finally arrives in Walford next week and Mel has high hopes that they can make a fresh start together.
But then Hunter makes a shocking discovery about his dad which changes everything.
We have to keep tight-lipped on what goes down but Hunter learns some uncomfortable truths about Steve – so what will they mean for his relationship with his mum?
The revelations lead Hunter to the grave of his gran – Steve’s mum, Barbara – where Mel eventually finds him.
