It seems there is no end to the dark stories in Emmerdale, as one village resident is blackmailed into having sex this week.
Tracy Metcalfe has been struggling with handyman Phil’s creepy interest in her.
And this week she’s horrified when he reveals he knows the truth about her past as a prostitute – because he was once one of her clients.
She’s even more shocked when he announces he’s got a video of them together and unless she hands over £1000 he’ll show it to her husband David.
Desperate to stop Phil’s horrible plot, poor Tracy even steals the cash from her dad, Frank – but when push comes to shove, she can’t bring herself to hand it over.
When she goes to see Phil empty handed he provides her with an alternative option to secure his silence.

The evil briber wants Tracy to sleep with him.
Meanwhile, David overhears Tracy booking a hotel room for this assignation, so suspecting she’s having an affair (well, he’d know all about that wouldn’t he?!) he follows her.
At the hotel, Tracy’s trying to steel herself to go through with what Phil wants.

As he starts to undress, she tells him to get on the bed.
But just as they are about to get down to business there is a knock at the door – and David walks in.
Will this spell the end of their marriage – or can David forgive his wife’s past? He is, after all, hiding his own guilty secret, after he very recently slept with his ex, Leyla.
