It looks like Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald could really be heading down the aisle, when the cab boss pops the question for the SECOND time next week.

Tonight’s episode sees Steve ask Leanne to marry him after she chooses a night in with him and Oliver over a night out with the girls.
Steve seems to take this as a sign that she wants them to be a happy family, rather than her just being shattered looking after a young baby.
When Lee wakes up the following morning, after heading out with Toyah and Eva after all, she’s horrified to realise that, after a few drinks, she said yes!
Leanne quickly begins to wonder how she can back track out of the engagement, but Steve is steam-rolling ahead with the whole thing.
After taking some advice from Liz, Steve decides he needs to propose to Leanne properly and gets down on one knee in front of half the Street!
And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, he dresses baby Oliver in a onesie with ‘Will you marry my daddy?’ emblazoned across it. Which is just a bit wow.
Jane Danson, who plays Leanne, says the new mum feels a bit pressured into saying yes, again.
She told The Sun: “He dresses Oliver in a babygro saying with the words will you marry my daddy? It in in the middle of the street just as she is about to dump [him] so she is really out on the spot…
“She feels as though it is a little bit of emotional blackmail as he knows she wants a proper family life for Oliver so he has used the one thing that might strike a chord with her.”
Jane added that Leanne is soon regretting saying yes to Steve the first time. She continued: “She was definitely quite drunk, it has been a while since Leanne kicked back and relaxed and she might have gone a bit too far!
“Let’s just say she isn’t jumping for joy, it was definitely the drink that made her agree and she is mortified when she wakes up the next day and realises.

“She doesn’t really know what to do, Eva and Toyah tell her she probably did agree so she needs to do something about it so she sends him a text saying they need to talk but in doing so she potentially makes things worse!”
Could Leanne find herself inadvertently becoming the next Mrs McDonald?
