The Carter family are left feeling unnerved next week when they find a cryptic note left for them at the pub.
It’s Halfway who recognises the handwriting and tells them it’s from his brother, Stuart.
Mick is furious when he realises his former friend has been in their home and sets off to find him.
But mum Shirley and wife Linda, knowing Mick’s volatile temper, work together to stop him.
When they’ve all calmed down, the Carters agree not to tell Tina that Stuart’s been in the pub, but Mick doesn’t agree as he thinks there should be no more lies.

Determined to let Tina know what’s gone down he broaches the subject with her but her reaction leads him to change his mind.
Instead he suggests getting away for a mini-break in Southend and Tina agrees.
While she goes off with Mick and Linda, Shirley and Halfway attempt to arrange a meeting with Stuart.
But will he want to listen to anything they have to say?
Tina recently revealed how twisted Stuart made her think she was going to die in a sick prank he played on her twenty years ago.
She told Sonia Fowler how Mick’s childhood friend and so-called best mate Stuart stripped her naked, shoved her in a car boot and led her to believe she would die.
In a disturbing scene, Tina explained how she, Mick, and some mates, including Stuart, used to play a game called Torture, where they’d all hide and, then when found, an act of torture would be carried out.
But on one night out, things were taken too far… by Stuart.
“So I am in the boot of car an it’s going round and round in circles, spinning and there is this one track that is playing over and over; it is on a loop,” she went on.
“I’m lying in the boot of the car and I’ve lost half my clothes and my arms and my legs are tied up,” she went on.
“And I can taste like plastic in my mouth and there’s sticky tape tied all the way round my face and it’s cutting into my cheeks.
“And I’ve got sick in my mouth, like acid making me gag, but I couldn’t.”
She added that she could smell burning and believed she would die; her nightmare only came to an end when a tramp opened up the boot.
Last week things came to a head between Tina and Stuart as he continued to try to manipulate her into taking back her allegations.

Tina refused and lashed out at Stuart, before leaving him for dead on the floor of the Arches.
