Henry turns up at the Bistro while Chesney and Gemma are having lunch and declares his love for the feisty redhead.
Gemma is baffled as she just learned on social media that Henry has got engaged but he insists he was only doing it to keep his parents sweet.
He then explains they threatened to disinherit him if he didn’t propose to Cressida, but he tells Gemma its her he loves and he’s told his parents to stick the money.
Henry then reveals that he’s bought the Rovers for Gemma to prove his love for her. Will she buy it?
Ches and Cathy aren’t quite so impressed and they warn Gemma that Henry isn’t to be trusted. Are they right?
Gemma dumped Henry back in February after finding out he’d only been seeing her as a bet with one of his posh friends.
She was heart-broken as she’d fallen hard for the man she thought was her Prince Charming.
Ironically Henry really had fallen for Gemma but as he tried to tell her, she told him to sling his hook.
It was revealed earlier this year that Henry was set to buy the iconic pub as a present for Gemma and also reported that she would turn it into a swanky cocktail bar.

A source told the Mirror how Henry will hit on his ultimate plan to woo Gemma back.
“As part of the relationship he tries to woo her by saying he will buy the pub and she can go from working in the kebab shop to landlady of the Rovers.
“Gemma is very excited and when Henry says he wants the pub to be more sophisticated she even starts planning a cocktail menu.
“But the plans won’t go down with regulars and if it goes ahead there would be an outcry on the Street as most people go in there for a quiet pint not a pina colada.”
