There’s a big shock on the way for Todd Grimshaw in next week’s Coronation Street as he starts looking into his partner, Billy Mayhew’s, sketchy past.
Billy is in bits over lying to the police about his involvement in the armed robbery all those years ago and Todd tells him he needs to get a grip on himself for Summer’s sake.

Todd then tells his boyfriend that he’ll look into what happened when Billy’s getaway van hit another car before driving off.
Todd contacts a private investigator and – judging by the look on his face when he reads through the results – it’s not good news.
While we have to wait to find out exactly what’s in the report, Todd heads home and reassures Billy that no one died.

Billy is relieved, but not for long as Todd’s behaviour makes Billy think something is playing on his mind.
Taking matters into his own hands, Billy tracks down and arranges to meet a man called Gareth .
He suggests to the mysterious Gareth that they should do the right thing and go to the police about the accident, but this idea is shot down by Gareth who warns Billy to keep his mouth shut.
Billy is left shaken by Gareth’s threats of what will happen if he blabs, but decides it’s time to put the ordeal behind him and focus on his future with Todd and Summer.
But when Adam Barlow borrows Todd’s laptop and is shocked by what he finds on it, will Billy’s world come crashing down?
And what is Todd hiding?
Speculation is rife that the car crash Billy was involved in is the same one that killed Adam’s mum, Susan. Could this be the truth?
