When Nicola Rubinstein said, confidently, that Phelan would never hurt her or her baby in Corrie, we have to confess we felt a shiver of fear.
Because when people say stuff like that in soaps, they’re nearly always proved wrong!
And it seems poor Nicola could be next in her evil dad Phelan’s firing line – pregnant or not!
At the moment on screen, Nicola has cooked up a plan with Gary Windass to try to find the proof they need to bring Phelan down.
She’s playing the doting daughter in the hope that she can scout round Phelan’s house and maybe even get hold of his computer.

And she’s persuaded her dad to give Gary a job at the mill building site – where viewers know he murdered Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford – so they can try to find out what he’s hiding there.
And now it’s going to be revealed that she’s even hidden Seb Franklin in her flat, desperately trying to keep him safe from her murderous father after the teen testified against him in court.
But in next week’s Corrie, things take a nasty turn when Phelan is suspicious about why Nicola doesn’t want him to visit her flat.

He decides to go there anyway – just as Faye finds a prescription for Seb in Gary’s pocket and puts two and two together.
As everyone arrives at the flat, Nicola manages to hide Seb in the bedroom, and Faye lies that she’s come to ask Nicola’s advice because she’s being bullied at school.
But it’s clear Phelan’s not convinced. As Nicola thinks fast to try to distract her devious dad, will he realise what’s going on?
And if he does, will Nicola be next on his hit list?
Surely even evil Pat Phelan wouldn’t kill his own pregnant daughter. Would he?!
