The Loose Women star is never afraid to strip away the glitz and glamour surrounding stardom and tell it how it really is.
Case in point: after last night’s National Television Awards, she posted a hilarious video to Instagram showing her struggling to remove her long blonde wig while getting ready for bed with boyfriend Joe Swash.

She captioned the clip: “When you want to keep the illusion of looking super sexy but you know there’s no way you can keep your wig on in bed. Thank g-d he loves me (sic).”
Stacey usually has shoulder-length blonde locks but chose to wear an uber long, Kim Kardashian-esque hair-piece to the annual awards ceremony.
She looked AMAZING on the red carpet but back home, it was time to say goodbye to her Goldilocks makeover and revert to the Stacey we all know and love.
Beaming at the camera, a long-haired Stacey said: “This is my favourite part of the night: bed time!”
She turned the camera around to catch Joe getting ready for bed, prompting him to start dancing and singing… before Stacey cut him out: “That’s not happening!”
Laughing, Stace then said: “I will show you just how sexy I can be!”
Trying to take her wig off, however, she found herself a bit stuck: “I can’t get it off! I can’t sleep in it!”
Poor Joe seemed a bit baffled as to what was going on and hadn’t even realised Stacey was wearing a wig, which she found hilarious!
“Yes, it’s a wig!” she said. “I had hair up to here yesterday!”
Gripping her wig at the front to pull it off, she said: “Here goes nothing! Oh, it’s really glued on. Babe, you’ll have to help me. Oh, please help me!”
Trying a different tactic, she said: “I reckon if I take it off from the back, as it’s not glued on at the back…”
Success! The mum of two whipped the wig off to reveal her shoulder-length hair plastered back on her head.
Turning to Joe with a big smile, she said: “Still sexy?”
His answer? “No.”

Stacey’s fans found the whole video hilarious and rushed to compliment her on being so down to earth, and praise Stacey and Joe’s wonderful relationship.
One wrote: “I love you two so much, a perfect couple that have a laugh n fun wish I could find a man like that (sic).”
