She won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010 and spent last year co-hosting the spin-off show, Extra Camp, alongside boyfriend Joe Swash.
But sadly for Stacey Solomon, 27, she won’t be jetting back out to Australia later this year after being axed from Extra Camp ahead of the new series.
Stacey has now spoken out for the first time about being dropped from the programme, but anyone hoping for her to be kicking off or slagging off the show, it’s quite the opposite.
In typical Stacey style, the mother of two was nothing but happy and positive when asked how she felt about being dumped.
“I’ll definitely miss it loads, but I’m so excited,” she told OK! magazine.
“I love watching it from the comfort of my own home, so I can’t wait to see what the show brings. Every year they do something different, so it is really nice.”
Joe, who was interviewed alongside Stacey, added: “You know, it’s the nature of the beast. It’s the job we’re doing, so we dust ourselves off, don’t we?”
Reports that Stacey had been dropped surfaced last month, with insiders claiming Joe’s role was also at risk but his future was yet to be decided.
“But the thinking this time around is to have a complete revamp in the format and Stacey unfortunately don’t quite fit into that.
“Joe may still have a role but that hasn’t been decided, but everyone involved will miss working with Stacey, and Joe if he leaves, because they’re great fun.”
Stacey and Joe worked alongside Vicky Pattison and Chris Ramsey on I’m A Celebrity’s spinoff show, which was renamed Extra Camp last year after previously being called I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here NOW!
Vicky and Chris both said earlier this year they wouldn’t be returning for a second series, meaning Joe is the only one of last year’s panellists back on screen this year.
The frontrunner is said to be former I’m A Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt, while fellow camper Joel Dommett is another name doing the rounds.

Producers may need to get their skates on and choose someone soon, though, as I’m A Celebrity usually starts airing around November, which isn’t long away at all…
They’ll also need to lock down their campmates for this year with names in the running including The Saturdays star Vanessa White, WAG Rebekah Vardy and TOWIE’s Megan McKenna.
The countdown begins!
