“My ever so cool Friday night is going to consist of, downloading and watching as much trashy TV as physically possible, while googling ways to stay cool while another human is inhabiting me,” she said.
“That pregnancy glow everyone keeps banging on about is a myth. It’s all sweat. I’m constantly covered in a glaze of perspiration.”
She went on to say that she was too hot to even try and reclaim her pregnancy pillow from her seven-year-old son, Leighton.
Stacey explained: “Oh and yes that is a Leighton nested in my pregnancy pillow – quite frankly I’m too hot to do anything about it.”
She posted a further shot to Instagram Stories showing that at least one family member had no respect for her attempts to stay cool. The cat had decided to sit on top of her!
Stacey’s fans and friends took to the comments to sympathise with her situation, with several women offering tips based on their own experiences.
“I’m like this when I’m pregnant too. Cold flannel on the back of your neck and run the inside of your wrists under cold water. Hope you cool off!” one fan said.
“You still look lovely. I’m glad it’s not just me who’s permanently hot while pregnant! Three weeks to go and counting!” said another fan.
“I got through the summer when I was pregnant by sticking my feet in a bowl of icy cold water all evening… it really helps,” another fan commented.

Barry M make-up artist Anna Lingis-Zavros said she’s in the same situation: “Snap! Although my husband borrows my pillow! 32 weeks now so just counting down the weeks!! Trashy TV and takeaway is life.”
Stacey is expecting her first child with partner Joe Swash. She is mother to Zachary and Leighton from previous relationships.
