Stacey Solomon opens up about her children having different fathers

The Loose Women panellist feels "guilty"

Stacey Solomon has admitted that she feels an “overwhelming sense of guilt” about her sons having two different fathers.

The Loose Women panellist has said she has read several studies on the social and emotional impact of broken homes on young children.

The 27-year-old has eight-year-old Zachary and four-year-old Leighton.

The presenter was discussing when the right time is to have a child in a new relationship, if you already have kids with other partners.

Stacey was speaking to the Huffington Post in a video blog to debate the question faced by so many couples nowadays.

The former X Factor contestant said: “I always have an overwhelming sense of guilt that if I were to make my family greater, that I would impact on them socially and emotionally.

“There’s definitely been times in my life where I’ve felt the stigma of having multiple children from different partners.”

Stacey is raising her son Zachary with her childhood sweetheart Dean Cox and Leighton with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

She is currently in a relationship with EastEnders actor Joe Swash, whom she been with since November 2015.

Joe has a nine-year-old son called Harry, who he had with his former fiancée Emma Sophocleous.

During the blog, Stacey also discusses that she was one of three kids before her father remarried and she then became one of seven!

She concluded: “Life is never perfect, you just need to adapt – ultimately by doing that, you’re going to give children the best start in life.”

Stacey and her boyf Joe seem to be the happiest they’ve ever been. In an interview with Hello! magazine recently, Stace said: “It’s going really, really well.

“I’m so happy. Everyone says we’re made for each other. We are like the same person, we come from really similar backgrounds and we’ve got so much in common.

“He’s absolutely lovely, I’m so lucky.”
