Stacey Solomon has joked she looked like a referee while presenting on Friday’s Loose Women in a red and navy striped dress.
The mum of two noticed the resemblance after she came off air and, being Stacey, took to social media to laugh about it all.
Posting a video to Instagram Stories, she laughed: “I love today’s Loose Women outfit! It’s a dress from ASOS and I feel like a red referee!”

She then blew her “imaginary whistle” – oh, Stace, we do love you!
The 28-year-old shared another picture to Instagram, showing her in a slightly less energetic pose, saying: “When you dress like a referee.”
Naturally, fans had something to say about Stacey’s choice of outfit.
Some thought she looked more like a Bournemouth footie fan given the team’s red and black striped kit!
“You look as if your playing for Bournemouth FC,” joked one.
“Beetlejuice!” joked another.
“Or a deck chair, but a lovely deck chair!” laughed a third.
Meanwhile, it’s not the first time this week that Stacey’s found her Loose Women outfit drawing comparisons.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the star hit back at haters who criticised her look – including her Loose Women co-star, Janet Street Porter.
“Today’s Loose Women outfit is from Daisy Street,” she said. “Janet has said I look like a flag, people have said I look like a Rubik’s Cube.
“I say, hell yeah to all of those!”
Of course, other suggestions then came flooding in with Twitter.
Stacey was compared to traffic lights and ice lollies as well!
We doubt she cares, though!
Just last month she gave a passionate speech on Loose Women saying she was fed up with women being judged on their red carpet looks, when men aren’t subjected to the same scrutiny.
Her remarks came after she teamed a pretty satin purple frock teamed with white trainers at the NTAs.
She said that no matter what happens, every awards show is followed by articles pulling apart celebrities’ red carpet fashion choices – and she’s had enough!

Stacey said: “Everyone will always judge you so I just thought I’d wear something I actually liked and feel comfortable.
“I’ve been told in the past I looked like a curtain, got it wrong because I wore the same dress as someone else, so why not wear what I want?”
