Stacey Solomon has admitted being in a relationship with Joe Swash “accentuates” her confidence.
The 28-year-old, who has often been open about how she suffers from anxiety, has been with the former EastEnders actor for nearly three years.
She said in her latest column for The Sun that he makes her happy because: “He loves me for me. No matter what I look like, no matter my past.”
Stacey had two sons, Zachery, ten, and Leighton, six, from two previous relationships before she met Joe, 36.
The Loose Women star said her relationship with Joe is “never a challenge” and she feels good knowing he’s “got her back”.
She said: “Being happy in a relationship isn’t the be all and end all to feeling confident, but it definitely gives it another dimension.
“It can be something as simple as when he does the washing up, or looks after the kids when I’ve got no one else to help or by just giving me a cuddle.”

Stacey spoke out about her own love life as she compared herself to Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson.
She said she respected and admired the reality star for how she has dealt with salacious stories about her past as a glamour model and stripper being in the press – and how she hasn’t let it affect her blossoming relationship with Wes Nelson.
Stacey met Megan when she appeared on Loose Women this week and was impressed that she didn’t shy away from addressing her past, or how she’s spent £25k on cosmetic surgery.

She said Megan sent a “powerful message” about how surgery doesn’t equal happiness – as she admitted she only feels fulfilled and confident now she’s met Wes.
Megan said on the Loose Women: “On social media, people judge you for being a glamour model. On Love Island it is stripped back, there is no social media, no judgement. Wes got to know me for me and it’s the best I have ever felt. I know someone is in love with me because it’s me.”
This resonated with Stacey who said while she was happy before she met Joe, having him love her is the “icing on the cake” and gives her extra self-esteem.
While Stacey is loved-up with Joe, she recently admitted she’s not ready to tie the knot with him just yet.
She’s also said that while she often feels broody, she’s not ready to have another child.
“Me and Joe love each other, are really happy and we’re not in a hurry,” she said.
