Mum-to-be Stacey Solomon has revealed how her first date with partner Joe Swash took a disastrous – and disgusting – turn.
The Loose Women star recalls in her book Happily Imperfect how she “wasn’t in the right frame of mind” for starting up a relationship after they hit it off during an appearance on a TV show.
However, it seems ex EastEnders star and presenter Joe was determined to woo Stacey, 29 – and eventually convinced her to go out with him.
Unfortunately, Stacey suffered from a few pre-date jitters – and took her pals’ advice to turn to a little bit of Dutch courage to help her relax a little too much to heart.

In an extract from her book published by The Sun’s Fabulous Online, the former X Factor singer shares how she hit the vino a little harder than she possibly intended.
“I thought Joe was really attractive and kind-hearted but I wasn’t interested in having a relationship,” she details about their first significant meeting.
Noting how she found his persistence “attractive”, Stacey tells how she arrived at Joe’s house with a bottle in hand to help soothe her nervousness.
She reveals: “I thought, ‘Please just get drunk with me and we can forget this awkward moment ever happened’. But Joe isn’t a big drinker. So I was just sitting there drinking this wine, trying to get through the evening. And then the wine ran out.”

Having gone out on a booze run to pick up more plonk, Stacey adds she challenged Joe to race up the stairs to his apartment.
But having had a drink or two, it appears Stacey was woozier than she realised – leading to a mortifying faux pas.
Stacey continues: “When I got to the top, not only did I feel sick but I also realised how unfit I was. He opened the door and I just went, ‘hurrrrrrrr,’ and vomited all this red wine all over his white walls.”
Luckily, as Stacey hilariously notes, Joe must have really liked her to see her again!
Yesterday Joe shared a cute snap of himself and Stacey relaxing at home with her baby bump just about on display.
The couple announced last week there will be new member joining their family.
