Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon has opened up about almost having an abortion when she was 17.
The 27-year-old revealed how, after seeing her mum cry at the scan, she couldn’t go through with the procedure.
The former X Factor contestant didn’t know she was pregnant with her son Zachary until she was past the 20-week mark.

The star revealed: “When I found out I was pregnant, I was 17 and so was like, ‘I can’t do it now, I’m too young, I must have the procedure’.
“My mum went with me, there were quite a few steps before the actual procedure, a consultation, you speak to a therapist, and a scan.”
She added: “That’s where it became a bit too real for me.
“I could see my mum in tears and the reality hit me.”
Stacey went ahead with the pregnancy and Zachary is now 10-years old.
The star was joined on the panel by Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Jane Moore.
During the chat, Coleen also spoke about her personal experience when she had an abortion at 16.
The 51-year-old revealed she hadn’t been able to talk to her parents about relationships or having a boyfriend.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner revealed: “As an Irish Catholic, I’d never had a conversation with mum or dad about sex or boyfriends or anything.
“I was six weeks pregnant when I found out, I did have the abortion but didn’t tell a soul apart from the father.
“He was fantastic, and stayed with me.”
The former singer then admitted: “My mum and dad both passed away never knowing.”
