Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has shared an emotional post on Instagram about being a single mum.
The mum to sons Zachary, nine, and Leighton, five, posted a black and white picture of herself with her eldest son, paying tribute to the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote.

She wrote: “Sometimes being a single mum makes you want to cry but on a day like today I’m so excited to know that, with my unconditional love and attention, my boys are going to be feminists (feminism meaning: equality of the sexes) fighting for equality and knowing how to respect women.”
Stacey, who shares Zachary with ex Dean Cox, and Leighton with ex Aaron Barnham, added: “#100YearsOfTheVote #suffragette #equality #love #100years.”
Her 815k followers loved her honesty, writing: “You are an inspiration @staceysolomon x.”
And: “You’re an amazing mother to your boys.”

A third added: “Stacey you’re wonderful and a mega amazing role model for your boys. I don’t think you’ve got anything to worry about.”
Others said that they hoped Stacey’s partner of two years, Joe Swash, 36, would make things official, commenting: “You have and are doing a wonderful job as a single mum, and have no doubt that your children will grow to be beautiful adults. Still hope you and Joe get married soon though, you’re a wicked couple.”
The 28-year-old I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner is known for her brilliant and sassy honesty.
She recently told her Loose Women co-presenters she and Joe don’t worry too much about keeping things edgy in the bedroom.
Stacey told the panellists: “I don’t think I’ve got the time [for a lot of sex] and that sounds horrible but it’s not even a joke. I’ve got two children, nine and five.
“I’ve got a full-time job, family to look after and to take care of and I don’t think I could be with somebody who needed to have sex all the time.
“I don’t think I could survive a sex-full marriage.”
She also delighted fans on social media last week, with an honest and relatable post about her spot-prone skin.
The X Factor finalist posted a shot of her bare face, writing: “Oh hi hormones, anyone gets bored today feel free to come and play dot to dot on my face”.
