It’s been an entire decade since sugar-sweet pop duo Same Difference graced our screens on The X Factor.
Yes, that’s right – a whole ten years ago, brother/sister combo Sarah and Sean Smith came together as Same Difference, to belt out pop tunes for Simon and co.
You may not remember that they actually did rather well that series, finishing in third place and releasing a single, We R One.
The pair have gone their separate ways creatively, but remain close – so close, in fact, that it was up to Sean to break the news of his sister’s pregnancy!
Speaking on the Scott McGlynn Show podcast, Sean revealed: “A baby boy is on the way! I’m gutted as he’s due in March 2018 and I’m not back home until May as I’m on tour with We Will Rock You.”
“But I’m very excited about becoming an uncle.”
Sean also talked about what the pair have been up to since calling time on Same Difference.

He said that Sarah is now: “Running a Same Difference school for kids to learn how to sing, dance and act with additional fitness classes.
“She meets lots of young stars and it’s amazing seeing them blossom.”
As for Sean, he’s still in the music industry, and earlier this year unveiled a striking new look during an appearance on TV.
Whereas in 2007 Sean and Sarah both pushed the butter-wouldn’t-melt look, now Sean is buffed up and blonde.
And on Loose Women, he admitted he was trying to sex up his images, saying: “I was almost asexual when I was Sean from Same Difference.”
