Er, okay then, Cath.
The star appeared on a celeb version of Catchphrase last night (Sunday) and host Stephen Mulhern asked how she made herself cry for emotional scenes.
She replied: “Just think about dead dogs and stuff,” while co-contestant Stacey Solomon and the audience rolled around laughing.
Cath added: “That’s a saying we have on set, if we find it difficult we think ‘dead dogs, dead dogs.'”
There’s a top acting industry tip right there, lads.
Fans hit up Twitter to laugh about the comment too.
“How do you turn on the waterworks when in soap… Erm ‘think about dead dogs & stuff,” laughed one viewer, while another added: “Just think about dead dogs and things, a flash in the flan oh @cath_tyldesley you are an absolute gem!”

Eva and Toyah are desperately trying to disguise the fact that the barmaid is up the duff, which is proving harder and harder as her baby bump grows.
