Those of you who were hoping to see X Factor joke act Honey G hanging out with Jedward and Calum Best in the AllStars Celebrity Big Brother house in January, had better grab a tissue.
It ain’t happening. Soz!
Why? Because the dodgy rapper is apparently TOO busy launching her pop career to spend three weeks on the show.
“Just to clarify to my fans, this is not true. I haven’t agreed to be on Big Brother,” she admitted, disappointing precisely no one.
She continued – speaking in the third person, if you please: “Right now Honey G is busy with releasing her debut single The Honey G Show which is out this Friday, 23rd December. Then she starts rehearsals for the X Factor tour which starts in February”.
Not that that stopped Rylan when he appeared in CBB after his dubious stint on The X Factor.
Rumours had started circulating a while back that the kids’ favourite would be entering the notorious house, with a source of some sort teasing: “Getting Honey G into the house would be a real coup for the show…”
“This year’s X Factor was all about her, and Channel 5 bosses would no doubt hope that she will be just as controversial in the house.
“And of course, during her time on X Factor, viewers only ever saw her in character as Honey G; we’ve yet to see her as Anna.”
Oh well, we’ll have to make do with the other stars who are apparently set to move into the house – such as Jedward, Austin Armacost, Calum Best, and many more.
Meanwhile, Honey – real name Anna Gilford – say she has too much to contend with – like, perhaps, trying to remember the lyrics she forgot during a performance on Good Morning Britain this week!
Not only is she ecstatic to be releasing her first single on Friday, she hopes to follow it up with an album!
Eek! You’ve been warned!
Not only that, the ambitious Miss plans to be as world famous as One Direction.
Er, deluded anyone?
“I’m looking to come in at the level that One Direction came in at,” she has said shamelessly straight-faced.
“I know that I can create that hype. I just need the opportunity to be able to sell the records, get the right PR behind me, get the right team behind me that’s really going to blow me up.”
We guess, time will tell!
Meanwhile in other CBB news – Stephen Bear has also ruled himself out of returning to the series in January, tweeting: “I can officially say I’m not doing CBB in Jan. I wasn’t cool enough.”
