Today, of course, is a very special day – it’s that time of year when we all celebrate our dads and what they’ve done for us.
While many people like to show their appreciation with a tie pin or perhaps a pair of golf socks, others prefer to post a special message on social media.
In fact, a number of A-list celebs have been paying respects to the dads in their life – or revealing how they’ve been treated by their own kids – by sharing adorable Instagram posts.
Victoria Beckham seemed to stick two fingers up at rumours this week that her marriage to David is on the rocks, by sharing a lovely picture of the former footballer.
In it, he’s seen grinning from ear to ear as he holds a ‘Daddy’ mug. He’s also surrounded by Father’s Day cards from his four kids with Victoria.
The Spice Girls star captioned the picture: “Happy Father’s Day @davidbeckham to the best daddy in the world!!! X We all love u so much!!! x So many kisses from us all x.”
David got in on the act, too, sharing several pictures of his own dad, Ted – including one that showed Beckham Snr as a much younger man.

Goldenballs wrote: “Happy Father’s Day dad and to all the fathers out there.
“Being a parent is the most special and the most rewarding role you could ever have, so cherish every single moment.”
Another former footballer, Rio Ferdinand, has made no secret of his growing bond with his three kids since his wife Rebecca Ellison tragically died of breast cancer in 2015.
And Rio – who is now dating former TOWIE star Kate Wright – seemed chuffed to bits as he shared a picture of the cards he’d received from Tia, Tate and Lorenz.
He told his Instagram followers: “4 of these cards made me cry & the other 1 made me laugh (me….hugging up a dog like that).
“Thanks for all the thoughtful and little things you do for daddy. You make me laugh & scream all in the name of love.”

As we’ve written about elsewhere on Entertainment Daily!, This Morning star Holly Willoughby is another who shared a picture of her dad today.
She captioned the Instagram shot: “Happy Father’s Day to this bundle of pure joy… love you daddy! 💕 xxx.”
