Stephanie Davis has sparked rumours of a secret engagement after gushing about getting the “best surprise ever” from someone special.
The former Hollyoaks actress couldn’t hide her happiness when she took to Instagram to declare herself a “lucky girl” following an idyllic weekend.
Stephanie, 24, posted a quote which simply said: “I AM HAPPY.”

She followed up by writing: “Yes I am! Just got the best surprise I’ve ever had. I really am a lucky girl and so thankful to have such a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out in my life.
“When you know, you just know. Feel so special and smiling from ear to ear!”
Of course, the whole big surprise and feeling happy led fans to assume Stephanie had just got engaged to a mystery man.
Presumably Jacob Gill, whom Steph was linked to earlier this month before reports surfaced they’d called time on their brief romance.
One fan wrote: “Happy for you! Are you engaged so curious.”
Another said: “She’s deffo engaged.”
But Stephanie quashed any speculation about a big white wedding on the horizon by saying: “No guys, I’m not engaged ha just a beautiful gesture from my one.”
Even if the “big surprise” isn’t an engagement, fans were still thrilled to hear Stephanie sounding so happy after a very difficult year.
One told her: “Love that you have someone who makes you happy and makes you feel special, you deserve it.”
Another said: “You deserve happiness from someone who actually cares about you this time and not what he can get out of you. Those horrible 2 years are over.”
Stephanie was previously in a relationship with Irish model Jeremy McConnell, 28.
They met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in January 2016 but endured a rocky romance until they split in May that year.
Stephanie then announced she was pregnant but Jeremy initially questioned the baby’s paternity, leading to a DNA test being done on live TV, following baby Caben’s birth, which proved he was the dad.
Little Caben was born in January 2017 and, later that year, Stephanie and Jeremy rekindled their romance and gave things another go.
But that wasn’t to last and another break-up occurred.
In August last year, Jeremy was found guilty of assaulting Stephanie during a row in March.

He was given a suspended sentence and community service but was jailed for 18 weeks just before Christmas after a judge ruled he had not completed enough of his community service.
Instead, he had flown to Turkey to undergo a hair and beard transplant procedure.
Jeremy was released after 34 days behind bars.
