Stephanie Davis shares worrying baby news update
Uploading a black-and-white close up of Samuel holding her hand, as well as an image of a cot surrounded by hospital equipment, on Thursday (April 3) evening, Stephanie recounted the agony her family have gone through in the post’s caption.
She began by thanking the staff on the high dependency unit and ward staff at Whiston hospital in Merseyside.
Stephanie revealed: “On Monday, Samuel stopped breathing and had three scary episodes. I’ve felt totally helpless and powerless the past few days.”
I’ve felt totally helpless and powerless the past few days.
She went on: “He’s endured two lumbar punctures which unfortunately didn’t work and had a bloody tap, a head scan, lung scan and I can’t count how many Canulas he’s had to have put in and out plus the rest.
“He’s had the full works and every antibiotic to make sure he’s ok. It’s been an absolutely horrendous and traumatic time. [Felt] completely powerless watching him go through so much pain but I know they have done everything they can to make sure he’s okay.”

‘My anxiety is through the roof’
Stephanie, who shares Samuel with partner Joe McKalroy, also expressed her empathy for parents whose babies are required to spend extended periods in hospital.
She reflected: “I honestly don’t know how you do it as I’m mentally and physically drained already. My anxiety is through the roof, think I’ve gone into autopilot now.”
Stephanie, also mum to seven-year-old son Caben, added: “Now to be there for him these next few days. Look forward to getting him home when we can.”

Proud mum Stephanie, who regularly shares sweet pics of her family on social media, also shared a Story pic of Samuel wearing a bandage, with medical kit also evident.
“Holding his dummy. The most perfect boy,” she cooed.
