Come on Strictly Come Dancing 2018, WE CANNOT WAIT ANY MORE.
The BBC favourite is due back on our screens in a few shorts weeks, and as of today the professional dancers are back in the studios, rehearsing.
But with producers still keeping quiet about this year’s line-up of famous contestants, speculation has been heating up online.
In fact, everyone from Boris Johnson to Marian Keyes to David Beckham have been suggested as possible dancers for the series.
And because we’re so helpful over at ED!, we’ve gathered together all the most credible rumours in one place. You ready?
Number one on our list is none other than the wonderful Scarlett Moffatt.
The former jungle queen and Gogglebox star recently hinted that she’d been doing research on the show, tweeting: “I’ve watched that many [episodes of Strictly], I’ve choreographed a Charleston in my head.”
She recently hinted she has an exciting project coming up at the end of the year.
The TV star – who was a ballroom dancer in her teens – later deleted the social post, which made everyone even more suspicious.
Next up is Rick Astley.
Yep, the iconic singer confirmed he’d been approached by producers. He also insisted he wasn’t fit enough, during an episode of Sunday Brunch, adding: “Greg Rutherford said they practise every hour of the day. I couldn’t do it. Not a chance.”
But we’re not ruling anything out. After all, who IS fit enough for Strictly?
Another name we’re excited about is actor Ross Kemp.
The former soap star admitted this week on Loose Women that he’d been asked to join the show way back on the very first series.
Which could mean he’s finally said yes?
Ellie Jones from this year’s Love Island has been seen having ballroom lessons in London, and the company’s Instagram hashtags rather gave things away.
They wrote: “@bbcstrictly #loveisland #loveisland2018 #elliejones #london #strictly #scd #strictlycomedancing”.
Another hot favourite is former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley.
After recently leaving the ITV soap, she’s back to auditioning, which means her schedule is open.
She also revealed in an interview: “I don’t watch much reality TV but the one show I do watch is Strictly Come Dancing. I adore it.
“That’s the only one I would possibly do.”
Another ex-Corrie star’s name being mentioned is Les Dennis.
He spoke about the possibility during an interview recently, saying: “When I was doing Coronation Street I was approached but we weren’t allowed to do it, we had a policy.”
He added: “I wouldn’t mind doing it, I always like a challenge.”
Alex Scott is also said to have signed up according to a source speaking to The Sun.
She’s a former footballer who represented Great Britain in the 2012 Olympics. She also played in the 2015 Women’s World Cup and was a commentator from the recent World Cup in Russia.
That’s some seriously sporty credentials.
Piers Morgan is another possibility for this year’s series, after he confirmed live on Good Morning Britain that he would do it.
Just to stir the pot even further, Piers also posted a photo of himself with former Strictly star, Ed Balls, commenting that he was in “Strictly training”. It was probably a joke – or was it?
He later performed a routine with dancer Anton du Beke, on air during GMB and just a few weeks ago, posed for a picture with judge Bruno Tonioli.

Former TOWIE star Joey Essex has also been a hot tip for this year’s series ever since dancer Oti Mabuse tweeted a photo of him with a Strictly casting producer on her Instagram – and then deleted it.
A source told The Daily Star Sunday: “The mums and the kids love him, and he’d be perfect for a family show like Strictly.”
Radio presenter Maya Jama, who is dating rapper Stormzy, is another strong rumour making the rounds.
Sources say she has been “in talks” for a while to do Strictly, and she’s made no moves to deny the reports.
Chris Hughes from Love Island 2017 has already confirmed his determination to make it on the show, even turning down Dancing On Ice in case it killed his chances with Strictly bosses.
And, as if that lot weren’t enough for you, other names being bandied about around the internet are: Singer Cheryl, actress Michelle Keegan, presenter Anneka Rice, Olympian Lizzy Yarnold, EastEnders’ actress Samantha Womack (again), Gemma Collins (again), Nadiya Hussain, Coleen Rooney and X Factor star Joe McElderry.
