There are a handful of things that prove a relationship is getting serious: your first holiday, exchanging keys, signing up for a joint Netflix account.
But undoubtedly, right at the top of the list, is one MAJOR milestone that has the power to instil fear in even the most confident of people.
Yes. Meeting the parents.
And apparently that’s just what ex Strictly Come Dancing star Daisy Lowe, 28, has done when it comes to her secret new boyfriend.

According to The Sun, model Daisy has been quietly dating artist John Leigh away from the limelight.
But proving things are serious, she reportedly introduced John to her mum Pearl Lowe and step-dad Danny Goffey during a recent weekend away.
A source revealed: “They have been secretly dating for months and really enjoy each other’s company.
“He really has no interest in being famous or anything, and although he has fallen for Daisy, he doesn’t want his relationship to affect his work.”
If anything, it seems like Daisy is actually playing muse, with the insider adding she’s “proved a real source of inspiration though and he has been taking lots of photos of her since they got together”.
Well, just look at Daisy! Who wouldn’t want to take photos of her?!
There aren’t any snaps of John on Daisy’s Instagram account although, we suppose that makes sense if they want to keep things private.
Daisy’s last boyfriend was model Bradley ‘Frankie’ Wade.
They called it quits at the end of last year with a rep for Daisy blaming the pair’s hectic schedules.
Daisy, meanwhile, has found herself making all sorts of headlines this week because of ANOTHER relationship.

The brunette has been accused of leading close pal Louise Redknapp astray and making her relish her independence, which led to Louise’s split from husband of 20 years, Jamie.
Daisy and Louise became firm friends on last year’s Strictly.
However, Louise firmly denied Daisy played any part in the separation, telling Stella mag: “I’m a 42-year-old woman. Daisy is a mate who is an incredible cheerleader at a time when I’ve needed a lot of support.”
We all need a friend like that.
